there is not a lot of free games

Please...

There are just 2 free items and I couldnt download any of them.

My sister likes it and were both pegasisters.

Many problems including... Difficulty of game, games ask kids to pick up and tilt iPad... Smart. There are bugs that dont allow books to be completed. I want my money back. Oh and, fire who ever deigned these. My 3 year old could do a better job.

At least it was free...the other books in the series sell for $4 and cannot possibly be worth it based on this. There are much better highlight reader books out there.

Underwhelmed. First, the Hasbo commercial that plays every time you open the game is completely inappropriate. The whole game is an advertisement for Hasbro, so its just greedy to insist on adding that ad in the front. Also, the transformers head at the end of the ad is too scary for young children. The storybook hiccups and repeats itself multiple times throughout game play. The "game" portion where you have to tilt your tablet around to move the pony through the maze just doesnt work well, as you have to tilt it so far you cant see the screen anymore! At the end of that game we got a "word" but I have no idea why. As it wasnt mentioned again through the game. The video quality of the clip from the show was very poor. Then at the end there were "stickers" that had to be attached to the right parts of the landscape, but the stickers available did not match up with the words on the screen. This storybook/game also has no idea what age level it is catering to. Portions of it seems to be for level one or two readers, and others for preschoolers. Yet the game is too complicated for preschoolers, and some parts are pointless for school age children. Clearly there was no instructional designer involved in the design of the game (or if there was, not a very good one). Another annoying thing is that the game takes you to a page to download the ruckus app, which is kind of like iBooks but its not iBooks, so its an extra layer of software I dont want. Im deleting it. Dont bother with it, youll only be frustrated.

Awesome but it will be good if the stories didnt cost a lot of money. Everybody get this app!

This app is sucky. I got it and when I clicked it it just sat at a black screen that said tap to skip. So I tapped and nothing happened. Fix it PLZ

This app does not let me do anything but look at the Tap to skip part plz fix

Twilight Sparkle has a Fraternal sister who were born together, and her cutie mark is The Roar of the Elders, and the gift of the Roar! Can you make Starshine Sparkle? She is like Rainbow Dash, same mane, tail and fur, but she has Twilights eyes and only has three colors on her mane and tail: Purple, Hot Pink, and Navy blue. She is the Element of Bravery,(Its the same crown-like Element as Twilight, but with Starshines Element), obtains the Roar , and forms the new Lion Guard, (Note: The real thanks for the spark of inspiration is the creator of The Lion Guard, from Disney Junior app), she is a unicorn, and both sisters Sparkle turn into The Princesses of Friendship.

My daughter likes the books but we have 2 complaints. First, its hard for her to choose the sparkling item without starting to turn the page which triggers the reading of the page over again and dismisses the pop up window... Its annoying but forgivable. What really made me disappointed is that we had already purchased the "My Little Pony: Twilight Sparkle, teacher for a day" which is a separate app. We downloaded this app and purchased both add on books only to find out "Twilight Sparkles special lesson" is the same book weve already purchased in a different app, with a different name (also made by Ruckus). I originally left a much harsher review, and then contacted Ruckus Reader support to let them know about our disappointment directly. Ruckus Support took care of us and turned what could have alienated me from both Ruckus and Hasbro and into a more positive experience. They also told me theyd look into the page turning sensitivity as well. For my 6 year old daughter, its a great app and helps keep her involved in reading while shes just learning. Ill update to 5 stars when I see that theyve fixed the two problems we had with the app.

I decided to download this app, cause Im a Brony!

This is a great game but it takes so long to download

My daughter collects all of the sparkles every time and the picture at the end never shows all the items she collected.

Disappointing cant finish stories because cant collect all the words. Waste of money.

BEWARE! Very easy for children to make in-application purchase even though password is required to install application in iOS settings. Application itself is average. Recently downloaded free version with one book, and four year old purchased two additional books. Will see how long it holds her attention.
